ITO Iki is a fine filament silk thread for hand embroidery. The mulberry silk has an unsurpassable sheen and unique softness. Very fine embroidery lines and silk shading effects can be achieved by using a single thread or even splicing the thread. Multiple threads are used for stronger lines and filling areas (usually 2-8 strands). Different colors can be nicely blended and fine color transitions realized.
