Be part of the rich history of silk threads that go back several centuries to ancient China!
Legend has it that Lady Hsi-Ling-Shi - the wife of the Emperor - as she was sitting under a Mulberry tree - one day had a cocoon falling into her hot tea and noticed that it unraveled into a shiny intriquing piece of thread. She's been referred to the Goddess of Silk.
Silk woven into fabric was the luxury of emperors and their families at first but soon became a very valuable commodity traded along the Silk Road around the world. Its production was a very closely guarded secret held by the Chinese for a very long time. How intriquing?!
